A villa in Tuscany, built and furnished following the directions of interior and lighting designer Gerardo Acciaiolo from A.D. Design s.r.l. company (addesignsrl.com).
Along the stairs to the living area, there is a series of “Glass” fixed door leaves in transparent tempered glass. The extra-clear, transparent tempered double glazed pivot door features the same pattern as the wall, creating a nice continuity. The “DV” decoration ordered by the designer who supervised the works, perfectly reproduces the wallpaper motif used on the wall on which the glass wall is mounted.
A pivot door from the “Master” collection ensures the privacy of the master bedroom suite. The door has satin extra-clear glass with an opaque white back-painted band, equipped with a stainless steel 140cm square section handle, and a floor pump for soft closing.
The balustrades of the staircase to the upper floor are made of tempered glass with stainless steel ironmongery; the doors to the other rooms are from the “Extralight” collection, with opaque white aluminum finish and satin extra-clear glass lacquered in opaque pure white.
The master bathroom is designed as a natural development of the bedroom, except for the toilet area, which is separated from the shower and bath tub by a fixed glass wall from the “Glass” collection; access is provided by a “Glass” sliding door with custom-made satin stainless steel ironmongery and customized extra-clear transparent glass, featuring the same opaque white lacquering along the perimeter as the one on the suite pivot door. The guest bathroom has a sliding pocket door from the “Master” collection, with MDF panels with RAL 1013 opaque lacquering and matching opaque lacquered aluminum profiles, resistant to humidity and potential water leaks.
